Darcy Harty, Owner/Land Agent
Darcy was raised on a mixed farming operation approximately one hour South of Medicine Hat, Alberta in a small town called Etzikom. He attended Olds College and graduated with a Diploma from the Land Agent Field Services program in 1996.
Over the last 27 years, Darcy has held various roles including Land Agent, Land Manager, Owner/Partner, Area Landman and Lands & ROW Supervisor for Canadian Projects.
On August 26, 2019, Darcy determined that it was time to launch Harty Land Services Ltd.
Clarice Wolfson, Senior Land Administrator
Clarice is a motivated self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. She has been responsible for the coordination of projects from multiple clients including; reporting, quality control and tracking. Her experience and knowledge in surface land administration enables her to provide superior client services.
She attended Mount Royal University from 1996 to 1998 in the Business and Entrepreneurial Studies where she received her Diploma in Business Administration and Financial Management. Clarice also attended Mount Royal University from 2005 to 2007 and obtained her Petroleum Land Contract and Administration Foundation Certificate.
Clarice joined Harty Land in April 2020. With 19 years of land administration experience, Clarice is an invaluable partner at Harty Land and our ever growing client base.
Kelly Underwood, Senior Land Administrator
Kelly brings with her 18 years of Surface Land Administration experience to Harty Land. She has been responsible for the coordination and administration of various surface land projects for both freehold and crown acquisitions.
On March 28, 2022 Kelly joined the Harty Land team so that we can continue to provide the high quality surface land services that our clients both expect and deserve.
Section 10 of the Alberta Land Agents Licensing Regulation states:
“When negotiating for or acquiring an interest in land, land agents must conduct themselves in a professional and ethical manner, and in accordance with any standards of conduct established by the Registrar”
The goal of a Land Agent is to find a mutually agreeable solution that satisfies the needs of the client and the needs of the landowner, occupant, neighbouring stakeholder and the various regulators. Accomplishing this goal must be done professionally and ethically.
